Cigar City Brewing began offering two of its brews on 13 state-based Carnival Cruise Lines ships on Sunday.

Sailing from five ports throughout Florida, the ships — including two from Port Tampa Bay — are slinging cans of the Tampa brewery's Florida Cracker Belgian-Style White Ale and Invasion Pale Ale, as reported by the Tampa Tribune and Tampa Bay Business Journal.

Both publications said the deal has been touted as the first of its kind, and that Eddie Allen, Carnival's vice president of beverage operations, prompted the partnership.

Allen said Cigar City puts out his favorite Florida craft suds.

Carnival estimates that 100,000 Cigar City beers will be sold during the first year of the agreement, according to the Tribune and Business Journal.
