A UNAIDS official predicted that the HIV epidemic could be over in less than 20 years. Dr. Luis Loures, deputy executive director of the United Nations’ UNAIDS program, says that thanks to advances in HIV treatment and prevention, the epidemic could be eradicated by 2030.
During a game of “Would You Ever?” with Bethenny Frankel, former NSYNC’er Lance Bass said he knows “tons” of closeted gay celebrities and has lied to help them stay in the closet.
“[I]t’s up to them to decide if they want to come out or not. And I will support any decision they make,” he said.
But, he added, “We’re in 2013. I think it’s very uncool to be in the closet nowadays.”
