Listen: Schoolboy Q featuring Raekwon, "Blind Threats"

A dark and nimble cut off Q's major-label debut, Oxymoron

Schoolboy Q is dropping his second full-length album, and easily one of the most-anticipated hip-hop LP's of 2014, Oxymoron this upcoming Tues., Feb. 25. This will be Q's first major-label release and he's putting all his chips down on this first impression with a stacked guest lineup of revered names including Kendrick Lamar, 2 Chainz, Tyler the Creator, and Raekwon.

He's already released a handful of tracks from the album—"Collared Greens" with Kendrick Lamar, the hard-as-hell "Banger (Moshpit)," "Man of the Year," and "Break the Bank," all of which show some solid promise for this initial release.

Probably in full ready-to-just-release-this-shit mode, Q dropped another today, "Blind Threats," which includes none other than Wu-Tang's Raekwon. Listen to it below the jump...

The lazed-out track is driven by a classic, boom-bap beat and sporadic bell hits. Q leads off with relaxed delivery marked by heavy bars like "The 10 commandments, I can mark five checks / But I sense flaws, the Bible preaching blind threats / Streets held me down, got faith in a Pyrex" before Raekwon dances around the beat with 16 bars of dark, lyrical legwork on everything from tuna fish sandwiches to killing the opposition, then killing, them some more after that. Give it a listen below...
