Less than a year after their last Tampa Bay stop, of Montreal's psychedelic stage returned to town, this time stopping by State Theatre in St. Petersburg. [More after the jump.]
The Kevin Barnes-led project (now made up of an entirely new ensemble of youthfully fresh ) always put on so much more than a simple concert, with surreal costumed characters and vibrant ever-changing psychedelic projections. K. Barnes even shed his shirt, always a sign he's having a good time. The crowd sang, danced and arm-waved along, and were doused in fluffy down from feather-spewing cannons towards the end of the night.
