Newly sworn in Congressman David Jolly appeared on MSNBC's Morning Joe today, where he said he was bringing his "core convictions" to Washington, but did want to work with Democrats and the President on moving the country forward. But then he laid out some of his alternative ideas on health care, while acknowledging that he didn't expect the President to begin negotiating with him as the 435th member of Congress.
Jolly said that while Democrats may say that they want to work on fixing Obamacare, "they really don't want to talk about the substance it." He said that President Obama's delays on parts of the law "resonates" with the public, and shows that "Washington really messed up" in crafting the Affordable Care Act.
