Valentines: Tokens of Affection

A collection of antique valentines from the late 19th and early 20th centuries will be on display at the University of Tampa's Henry B. Plant Museum. In addition to the Museum's stash, Donas Werme has lent the museum 200 valentines from her collection. Along with sentimental messages, the valentines have pictures of children and cherubs, cupids and arrows, hearts, forget-me-nots, cabbage roses and even lace, feathers, seashells and dried flowers. The museum is open Tues.-Sat., 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sun., noon to 5 p.m. Closed Mondays.

Price: Admission is $10 per adult, $7 for seniors (65 and older), $7 for students and $5 for children 4–12.
